Both setups are similar.

On setup, you may select up to 4 existing contacts. The "emergency contacts". The app then monitors for missed calls from these contacts.

On the first missed, ignored, or avoided call, From any pre setup contact and the unmistakable missed call banner appears.

The second missed call. In the pre-setup time, triggers the unpassable lockdown screen. The lockdown screen #1 informs them who the missed calls were from, that has the unlock code, with the full version or they return the call for the PLAY STORE VERSION. Pic example.. Dad. #2 Emergency services and the pre set up contacts, who can always be called or text. #3 The unlock code manual entry box if you wait for verbal communication. Optional just return the unlock code via text.

The emergency contact that was missed TWICE, receives two texts. #1 A GPS pin location, if they aren't going to communicate, at least you know where they are. #2 the unlock code, that is needed for unlocking. Return by text or wait for verbal communication. When they give me the power of lockdown, i have them do some cleaning before i give up the code. To each their own.

If you ever call and their phone is off, to avoid a missed call. You can text only the word 'lock' and on turn on lockdown will trigger, and you will know when you get the lockdown texts. Optionally set up a compatible router, to turn their wifi devices off and on with lockdown. See below for more information. Built to be fair — not controlling. Your child remains in control through a simple call management system, allowing them to answer or call back. If they communicate, nothing happens. If they ignore you, they hand over the power.

When lockdown is activated, it sends you their GPS location along with an unlock code via SMS. You simply text the code back, and their phone unlocks. It's that simple.

All data stays on your child's device, ensuring communication accountability. We don't track, store, or spy on anyone, and we prioritize missed call prevention.

(How it works)

You set up 4 trusted, triggering contacts. The phone monitors for missed calls from up to 4 contacts. If two calls from the same triggering contact are missed * within a short time (default: 5 minutes) * lockdown begins instantly *(Let's be honest, we won't call twice in 5 min unless you really need them to answer your call).

Connect the child's phone to the home Wi-Fi. Once connected to the normal home Wi-Fi. Select the connected network. Select the gear settings icon for the Wi-Fi. Select manage Wi-Fi. You will be taken to the web page to set up your password and guest network. Once setup. Enter the credentials into the child's, I Called Twice app on their phone. *Do the on and off test a minute apart and you're done.

* Wi-Fi access, on lockdown, is shut down to all tablets, PlayStations, Xboxes, video games, tv apps ect. If they are setup on a compatible guest network. On setup you will need to create a guest network and all Wi-FI devices, that need shut down on lockdown are moved to that network.
